To date, the Prayer Shawl Ministry has prayed and given over 2,000 prayer shawls.

They are created in love to help in the support and sharing of life: support of discipleship, confirmation, baptism, marriage, being widowed or loss of a loved one, healing, thanksgiving, birthday, the birth of baby, whatever prompted the prayers and the creation of a shawl for that person. 


The prayer shawls are never sold. The prayers, time, and the yarn is each member’s donation to the ministry.

Prayers shawls are blessed at the 1st Friday Mass.

Donations are appreciated and support Our Lady Cares Social Outreach.
